Client: Turismo do Algarve
Category: Motion/Video
Year: 2010

The exhibition “Ten Monumental British Sculptures”, which was part of the “Allgarve’10” programme, took place at the Cerro da Vila Museum and Archaeological Site in Vilamoura, and offered visitors the chance to see ten monumental works of great artistic merit from the Berardo Collection. For the first time, and in an unprecedented format, what is regarded as one of the best collections of contemporary art in the world, bringing together some of the great names in the history of modern art, was presented through a significant series of monumental British sculptures from the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Algarve Regional Tourism Board asked Newings to produce a video of all preparations for this prestigious exhibition with the aim of informing and raising the awareness of all visitors about the history of each work of art, as well as undertaking the complex business of mounting and composing the pieces themselves.
